qthid-fcd-controller software package provides Funcube Dongle controller, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install qthid-fcd-controller
qthid-fcd-controller is installed in your system.
Make ensure the qthid-fcd-controller package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep qthid-fcd-controller *
You will get with qthid-fcd-controller package name, version, architecture and description in a table
